D e s i g n   A p p r o a c h

I would describe my work as rooted in traditional forms with personalized solutions inspired by site conditions and my clients' vision of home.  The play of light and shadow by day and night figure prominently in the homes that I design.  Sunlight filled interior spaces formed by the careful placement of doors and windows help to celebrate the magic of our changing seasons.

Visual discoveries of interior and exterior vistas are important to me as the homeowner and visitor move through and around the three-dimensional space.  I believe that interior spaces should be crafted by the exterior form, not just left as empty boxes for someone to decorate.  Thoughtful design can inspire us in our daily life as we sleep, bathe, cook, entertain, and unwind.
